  2. Plate is not contoured to lateral surface of femur so there is a medial shift of condylar part compared to shaft ..basic anatomy is distorted by this fixation.

  Godspeed M. Khawlhring possible improvement: plate contouring and proper interfrag screws of distal fragments. btw, this is a difficult case and achieving ideal fixation may be difficult.

  Yazan J. Hattar should have been done with LISS rather than a complete open. Medial cortex comminution needs grafting. plate should have been longer with more empty holes left to allow dynamization of the construct

  Vivek Mahajan I think restoring medial buttress, better articular congruity and longer plate and compression at fracture site could have been better. Might need a medial plating with bone grafting in future.
